صحيح البخاری - انبیاء علیہم السلام کا بیان - حدیث نمبر 1240
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ التُّجِيبِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ انْطَلَقَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَهْطٍ قِبَلَ ابْنِ صَيَّادٍ حَتَّی وَجَدَهُ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ عِنْدَ أُطُمِ بَنِي مَغَالَةَ وَقَدْ قَارَبَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحُلُمَ فَلَمْ يَشْعُرْ حَتَّی ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ظَهْرَهُ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِابْنِ صَيَّادٍ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّکَ رَسُولُ الْأُمِّيِّينَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَرَفَضَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ وَبِرُسُلِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاذَا تَرَی قَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ يَأْتِينِي صَادِقٌ وَکَاذِبٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُلِّطَ عَلَيْکَ الْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَکَ خَبِيئًا فَقَالَ ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ هُوَ الدُّخُّ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اخْسَأْ فَلَنْ تَعْدُوَ قَدْرَکَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ذَرْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَضْرِبْ عُنُقَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ يَکُنْهُ فَلَنْ تُسَلَّطَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَکُنْهُ فَلَا خَيْرَ لَکَ فِي قَتْلِهِ
ابن صیاد کے تذکرے کے بیان میں
حرملہ بن یحییٰ بن عبداللہ بن حرملہ بن عمران ابن وہب، یونس ابن شہاب سالم بن عبداللہ حضرت ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر بن خطاب ؓ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ ایک جماعت میں ابن صیاد کی طرف نکلے یہاں تک کہ اسے بنی مغالہ کے مکانوں کے پاس بچوں کے ساتھ کھیلتے ہوئے پایا اور ابن صیاد ان دنوں قریب البلوغ تھا اور اسے کچھ معلوم نہ ہوسکا یہاں تک کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اس کی کمر پر ضرب ماری پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ابن صیاد سے فرمایا کیا تو گواہی دیتا ہے کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں ابن صیاد نے آپ ﷺ کی طرف دیکھ کر کہا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ ﷺ امیوں کے رسول ہیں پھر ابن صیاد نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کہا کیا آپ ﷺ گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اسے چھوڑ دیا اور فرمایا میں ایمان لایا اللہ پر اس کے رسولوں پر پھر رسول ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا تو کیا دیکھتا ہے ابن صیاد نے کہا میرے پاس سچا بھی آتا ہے اور جھوٹا بھی رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا تجھ پر اصل معاملہ تو پھر مشتبہ ہوگیا پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا میں نے تجھ سے پوچھنے کے لئے ایک بات چھپائی ہوئی ہے تو ابن صیاد نے کہا وہ دخ ہے رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا دور ہو تو اپنے اندازہ سے آگے نہیں بڑھ سکتا پھر عمر بن خطاب ؓ نے عرض کیا مجھے اجازت دیں اے اللہ کے رسول میں اس کی گردن مار دوں رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا اگر یہ وہی ہے تو تم اس پر مسلط نہ ہو سکو گے اور اگر یہ وہ نہیں ہے تو اس کے قتل کرنے میں تمہارے لئے کوئی بھلائی نہیں ہے۔
Abdullah bin Umar (RA) reported: Umar bin Khattab went along with Allahs Messenger ﷺ in the company of some persons to Ibn Sayyad that he found him playing with children near the battlement of Bani Maghala and Ibn Sayyad was at that time just at the threshold of adolescence and he did not perceive (the presence of Holy Prophet) until Allahs Messenger ﷺ struck his back with his hands. Allahs Messenger ﷺ said: Ibn Sayyad, dont you bear witness that I am the messenger of Allah? Ibn Sayyad looked toward him and he said: I bear witness to the fact that you are the messenger of the unlettered. Ibn Sayyad said to the Allahs Messenger ﷺ : Do you bear witness to the fact that I am the messenger of Allah? Allahs Messenger ﷺ rejected this and said: I affirm my faith in Allah and in His messengers. Then Allahs Messenger ﷺ said to him: What do you see? Ibn Sayyad said: It us a Dukh. Thereupon Allahs Messenger ﷺ said: May you be disgraced and dishonoured, you would not not be able to go beyond your rank. Umar bin Khattab said: Allahs Messenger, permit me that I should strike his neck. Therupon Allahs Messenger ﷺ said: If he is the same (Dajjal) who would appear near the Last Hour, you would not be able to overpower him, and if he is not, then there is no good for you to kill him. Abdullah bin Umar further narrated that after some time Allahs Messenger ﷺ and Ubayy bin Kab went towards the palm trees where Ibn Sayyad was. When Allahs Messenger ﷺ went near the tree he hid himself behind a tree with the intention of hearing something from Ibn Sayyad before Ibn Sayyad could see him, but Allahs Messenger ﷺ saw him on a bed with a blanket around him from which a murmuring sound was being heard and Ibn Sayyads mother saw Allahs Messenger ﷺ behind the trunk of the palm tree. She said to Ibn Sayyad: Saf (that being his name), here is Muhammad. Thereupon Ibn Sayyad jumped up murmuring and Allahs Messenger ﷺ said: If she had left him alone he would have made things clear. Abdullah bin Umar (RA) told that Allahs Messenger ﷺ stood up amongst the people and lauded Allah as He deserved, then he made a mention of the Dajjal and said: I warn you of him and there is no Prophet ﷺ who has not warned his people against the Dajjal. Even Noah warned (against him) but I am going to tell you a thing which no Prophet ﷺ told his people. You must know that he (the Dajjal) is one-eyed and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, is not one-eyed. Ibn Shihab said: Umar bin Thabit al-Ansari informed me that some of the Companions of Allahs Messenger ﷺ informed him that the day when Allahs Messenger ﷺ warned people against the Dajjal, he also said: There would be written between his two eyes (the word) Kafir (infidel) and everyone who would resent his deeds would be able to read or every Muslim would be about to read, and he also said: Bear this thing in mind that none amongst you would be able to see Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, until he dies.
